Report Scheduling

While reports can be run on demand there is also a supported mechanism that allows for reports to be run at specified time intervals. This can aid in running longer running reports or reports that should be run frequently.

Reports can be configured to run within the following time periods:

1. One-off
2. Daily
3. Weekly
4. Monthly

Schedule Configuration

Scheduling reports is very similar to the process of running an on demand report with an additional set of configuration parameters.

The following items are required to be configured:

1. A descriptive name for the schedule.
2. An email to send the report output to.
3. The scheduling information that indicates the frequency and time period of when the scheduled report should be executed.

Alongside the schedule parameters, any parameters that the report requires will also need to be configured. This is configured in the same way as described when generating an on demand report.
